Diplomats Challenge 2016 (1st Quarter), April 29, Morning at Jurong CC

Dear Golf League Members

It’s time to kick-start the fifth year of our Diplomats’ Challenge!

The first game will be on Friday, April 29 at Jurong Country Club, with a morning tee-off.

After winning the title for three years, we lost the Challenge to the diplomats’ strong team last year. This year, we will need to field an even stronger team to reclaim the title.

Having said that, all golf league members are welcome to join us for this game regardless of your handicap. We would like as many of our members to sign up. Our captain Patrick Daniel will select the team to play against the diplomats, whilst the rest of us will compete in the Golf League and strive to move up our leaderboard. This will be the fifth game of the year’s Golf League.

We have negotiated a discounted fee at $145 + GST per golfer, with members of JCC paying the buggy fee only. The Press Club will pick up the tab for lunch and prizes.

Please sign up with the secretariat at secretariat@pressclub.org.sg by 20 April.

We look forward to another great day on the greens, and as Jordan Spieth found out at the recent US Masters, golf is a game of the mind, so got to stay calm.
